Ed has been making games since founding his first studio in early 2000. He served as head of worldwide studios at PopCap Games, leading up to and through PopCap’s acquisition by EA.  At PopCap, he was lucky enough to work with an amazingly talented team on well known casual game franchises like Bejeweled, Peggle, and Plants vs Zombies.

Ed joined PopCap as part of the acquisition of Sprout Games, where he was a founder and creative director. Prior to forming Sprout, his experience spanned a broad range of roles from demo hacker at Silicon Graphics to sound designer for TiVo set-top boxes.

Now, Ed is noodling with all kinds of projects - from indie video and board games to mixed reality prototypes. When one of those projects turns into a product, Wayward Distractions is a place for them to call home. Tiny teams, fun ideas - that’s what it’s all about.
